The Opportunity

A fabulous opportunity for an experienced Civil Estimator to join a dynamic team and contribute to the business success.

The estimator role is critical to the ongoing success of the business. As such, all interactions with external stakeholders must be conducted in a positive way to ensure ongoing growth and success of the business.

Responsibilities required for the role are:

  • Diligently prepare accurate confidential estimates and bid submissions for projects to grow the business in a positive trend whilst leveraging positive relationship with suppliers, sub-contractors, internal stake holders and clients
  • Provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with financial targets in a consistent and integrated manner to align with the company strategic direction

About You

  • Minimum 6 years in the Civil Construction
  • Previous experience in the Estimating industry
  • High Level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Outlook, and MSP
  • Manual Drivers Licence
  • White Construction Card
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Exquisite numerical and IT ability with an analytical mindset
  • Intricate attention to detail
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation abilities
  • Effectively lead both internal and external meetings
  • Effectively develop relationships with internal and external stake holders
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
  • Ability to meet critical key deadlines
