The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for a Manager of Projects to join a company that values diversity and inclusivity. The role of Manager of Projects is to lead the project management function. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role aims to achieve successful project outcomes within the scope, time, quality, and budgetary constraints.

The Manager of Projects also nurtures client relationships and interfaces with stakeholders, becoming the central point of communication and coordination for all project-related activities. Through rigorous reporting and analysis, this role ensures transparency and accountability in project execution and financial performance.  

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Project Management specific qualification preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering and project management
  • Strong understanding of project portfolio management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects with a strong focus on quality, cost, and time management
  • Strong understanding of small business management principals
  • Proven ability to manage project teams
  • Proficiency in project management software for scheduling, cost control, and risk management
  • Exceptional technical acumen in the project management discipline
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong client relationship building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly skilled in conflict resolution and team motivation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and retain client relationships, including a proven track record in upselling or finding additional work opportunities with existing clients
  • Excellent negotiation skills for contract management and revisions
  • Willingness to travel for project needs
