The Business

A civil and mining construction company working across many major infrastructure projects such as port, rail and main roads.

The business has been providing industry-leading services to these sectors for over 20 years.

The Opportunity

  • Deliver project engineering works in order to support the Project Manager to effectively meet the agreed project scope, timeframe, budget, quality and safety standards
  • Review, prepare & develop documents including construction specifications, inspection test plans, construction schedules project management plans
  • Prepare accurate cost and time estimates
  • Prepare and manage construction schedules that meet the project requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with company, site and project policies and procedures
  • Plan and manage schedules for accurate project reporting & to ensure customer satisfaction

About You

  • Proven leadership and management capabilities
  • Tertiary Engineering qualifications, Associate Degree or Bachelors (preferable) and / Trade qualifications coupled with tertiary qualifications in engineering.
  • Understanding of QA legislation, standards and codes of practice.
  • Competent in the use of the suite of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and construct material takeoff and procurement schedules
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
