The Business

Our client is a successful and rapidly growing Transport and Engineering Business based in Gladstone, Central Queensland. With a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects, they are known for their commitment to excellence and client satisfaction. 

As part of their expansion plans, they are seeking a Projects and Workshop Supervisor to join their team.

The Opportunity

The Workshop Supervisor will coordinate site projects and shutdowns. They will supervise and manage the day to day running of the Fabrication & Maintenance Workshop.

With experience in supervising structural, mechanical disciplines on various sites and projects including fixed plant installations, port infrastructure. The candidate must have leadership skills to lead a diverse project team and capable of driving compliance to HSE, Quality and schedule.

About You

  • Supervising experience
  • Trade qualified in a Fabrication trade
  • Steel fabrication experience
  • Computer Literacy Essential and Basic Drafting skills advantageous
  • Solid knowledge of metal fabrication parts and melded parts of different materials
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with a high level of communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the business
  • Improve workshop profitability.
  • Cert 10 Welding Supervisor Course advantageous
